Dimraeth Character Creation: First Character Checklist
Dimraeth character creation is easiest to approach as a checklist: compare the current race and class choices, inspect every displayed ability, and record the build before confirming a first character.
On this page
Start by comparing the three races and three classes listed for Early Access. Race and class define the first test, but the exact menu sequence, starting values, and whether choices can be changed later remain unverified for a named client build.
What choices should I compare?
Use the race guide for the current named roster and the class guide for the published class descriptions. Keep lore, appearance and gameplay bonuses separate when deciding what matters to your first character.
Is an Archetype another selection screen?
The official overview uses “Archetype” for a race-and-class pairing. That wording does not prove there is a separate Archetype selection screen. Follow the choices the client actually presents rather than searching for an extra step implied by a guide.
What should I check before confirming?
Read the displayed racial ability and starting class actions. If a final confirmation warns that a choice is permanent, decide before accepting. This is a precaution, not a claim that Dimraeth locks every creation choice.
Do not assume a character can change race or class later. The official sources used here do not establish a change service or its cost.
A safer first-character checklist
Read the current roster
Use the options shown by your client; the current collected answer names Human, Elf, Minotaur and Brawler, Mage, Shadow.
Separate theme from mechanics
Treat fantasy descriptions such as magic, adaptability, or physical power as themes until the client shows a concrete effect.
Record the displayed details
Capture the race, class, ability text, starting actions, visible attributes, and build/version before confirming.
Choose one combat loop
Pick a close-range, caster, or status-effect direction you want to test; this is a test plan, not a tier ranking.
Confirm only after checking permanence
If the client warns that the choice is permanent, decide before accepting; no universal respec or change service is verified here.
What does the latest EA material confirm?
The official overview uses a broader “8 races and 6 classes” description, while a developer community reply gives the current answer as three races and three classes. Keep these scopes separate: the broader overview explains the planned game model, not a verified list of every option in today’s creation screen.
A recent class overview also links race, class, weapons, and starting skills through an Archetype concept, but its exact rules are third-party and not a client capture. Use it to decide what to inspect, not to fill in missing tooltips.

This page uses official published information, not a hands-on test of your installed build. Exact bonuses, unlocks and bindings may differ. No client version has been independently verified for this guide.
Evidence and changes
Read September 16, 2026: the Early Access current-state answer names three races and three classes, distinct from the broader overview. Source review only; no client build was tested.
The official website provides the game overview and system-level context; it does not replace an Early Access client check for exact UI or roster details.
A developer reply in the Dimraeth community says Early Access starts with three races and three classes and describes early content boundaries. It is a developer community statement, not a current character-creation screenshot.

A third-party article describes Brawler, Shadow and Magician as starting class directions, race/class archetype examples and preferred combat rhythms. It is not a current client verification or universal class ranking.

An unofficial fan guide indexes Getting Started, starter walkthrough, character creation, combat, items, spells, crafting and stronghold topics. Its headings reveal content opportunities but do not establish current game facts by themselves.
